Beer and Blogとは：
もともとは米国オレゴン州ポートランドから始まった「ブロガーが作るブロガーのためのイベント」。今では米国主要都市のあちこちで行われてるポピュラーイベントが、ついに日本に上陸します！
イベント概要：
ブロガー／ブログ好きな人達が集まって、ビールを片手にお互いのブログを紹介したり、自分のブログの質を向上させるにはどうしたらいいかなど意見交換する、その名の通りブログとビール中心の内容になります。（もちろんビールが苦手な方は他のドリンクでも大丈夫！）当日は有名ブロガー、Serkan Toto（Techcrunch）、Akky Akimoto (Asiajin、サイボウズラボ）、Danny Chooさん等も参加される予定です。お楽しみに！

時間：１９：００～
場所：渋谷ホブゴブリン
（お店では無線LANが使えます。経営者さんのご好意により、イベント中はドリンクをハッピーアワーの価格で提供します。ホブゴブリンさんありがとう！）

Things are set for the Tokyo Beer and Blog Kick-Off on March 25th. A few notes of interest:
Hobgoblin Shibuya will provide happy hour prices all night for Beer and Blog, and snacks yet to be determined.
Also, Serkan Toto is now Co-Organizer of Tokyo Beer and Blog. Serkan is an active part of Tokyo’s tech community, and blogs on Tokyotronic, AsiaJin, TechCrunch, and CrunchGear, among others.

Sorry for the silence, but I’ve been pounding the streets looking for the right place to launch Beer and Blog Tokyo. One of the choices I’d been pursuing went out of business, while the other is amenable to us setting up our event there.
Hobgoblin in Shibuya is a British pub very close to Shibuya station’s famous Hachiko exit. The Japanese site is here. Staff are friendly and speak English and Japanese. We’ve got wifi and good mobile and eMobile reception. Good choice of food as well as imported beers, wines, ciders, and hard alcohol. They take cash and cards.
Wednesday is the agreed-upon night, when the place isn’t too packed and there’s no game on TV, so let’s give that a shot and see how it goes. This Wednesday is too soon, next Wednesday is perilously close to St. Patrick’s Day, and so I think March 25, at 7pm is our official Kick-Off. Let me know if that works!
